Dr. Hoo Woon Ping graduated from Guy’s, King’s, and St. Thomas’ School of Medicine, London, in 2000. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Endocrinology and completed her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at London teaching hospitals, obtaining her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the General Medical Council (UK) in 2012.

Her experience includes working at esteemed institutions such as Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, St. Thomas’ Hospital, and St. Mary’s Hospital in London. Additionally, she holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound from King’s College London and has contributed to postgraduate ultrasound training modules. Dr. Hoo has also published several research articles in renowned journals, including Human Reproduction, Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Clinical Governance. She currently serves as an adjunct lecturer at Monash University Malaysia Medical School.

Dr. Hoo specialises in prenatal diagnosis of congenital abnormalities, fetal surveillance, 4D ultrasound, subfertility, gynaecological ultrasound, and the management of early pregnancy complications such as recurrent miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. She is highly skilled in minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic treatment of uterine and ovarian conditions and hysteroscopic resection of fibroids and polyps. Additionally, she is a certified colposcopist accredited by the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP, UK).

Committed to ensuring a positive birth experience, even in high-risk pregnancies, Dr. Hoo has extensive expertise in normal and instrumental deliveries, as well as caesarean sections.
