Dr Wee Chee Keong
Dr. Wee Chee Keong is the founder of Capernaum Neurology, with a special focus on acute stroke treatment. He earned his MBBS in Singapore and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2009. By 2013, he completed his neurology specialty training and received accreditation from the Ministry of Health. He further honed his expertise with a fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia.
Previously, Dr. Wee served as Chief Medical Informatics Officer at the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI), working across Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital. During his tenure, he played a key role in developing and refining acute stroke treatment protocols. Passionate about patient education, he co-chaired NNI’s inaugural Brain Awareness Carnival in 2017, promoting awareness of neurological conditions. He also contributed to medical education as a faculty member in the neurology senior residency programme and an adjunct assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School.
Dr. Wee has shared his expertise at international neurology conferences in Sweden, the United States, and Indonesia, presenting on specialised stroke topics.
Now practising at Capernaum Neurology, Dr. Wee provides expert care for stroke, dementia, headaches, Parkinson’s disease, and epilepsy. He also serves as a visiting consultant at Singapore General Hospital, continuing his commitment to advancing neurological care.
